
Jaroslav (Jerry) Cimera (1885-1972) Jerry was born in Bohemia (now Czech Republic), but lived in Chicago. He was in various bands, including Sousa’s and had his own band for some time. He was recognized as a great teacher. He became the principal trombone in Bohumir Kryl’s band. Kryl also from Bohemia and lived in Chicago. Cimera recorded for Victor and Zonophone among others, plus he had his own record label Cimera Records. His studio was located in Chicago. These recordings are all recorded on Cimera records in his Studio.
